November 10, 2005A shift in focus and a solicitationNow that most of the 278th RCT is back from Iraq, I plan to alter this blog into a growing archive of our deployment and back away from daily commentary unless it bears directly on the war on terror (for instance, the continuing Islamic domination of France) or US military matters in general. So, if you have a story or pic or both from our mobilization/deployment and you find it compelling, please send it along and I'd be grateful and proud to post it in this space. While I'm in transition mode, congratulations to Lee Pitts of the Chattanooga Times-Free Press, whose new byline is Washington, D.C. Best of luck to Lee and may the DC press corps call upon him for his first hand knowledge of the greatest issue of our time. In addition, I'll be talking to WKRN (Ch. 2 Nashville) today about the accomplishments of the 278th RCT. I assume it will air at 6PM or 10PM. UPDATE: Walked around my civilian jobsite with WKRN photojournalist extraordinaire Todd Dunn saying hello to folks and talking about what the 278th accomplished. It should air sometime tomorrow (Friday, Nov. 11). Posted by Lance Frizzell at November 10, 2005 12:32 AM |
