Christmas in the MWR

Here's the tree in the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Area right outside the computer/phone center. The door to the left takes you to the aid station where I spend a good deal of time.

This is the aid station in the middle of a (thankfully) slow night. Our job is to handle minor ailments and stabilize more serious cases for transport. As you can see, we're not designed to hold people for a long time - it is a lean and mean operation. Built for Speed if you will.

While the can to the left of the open laptop looks like beer, do not be fooled! This war theater has a no alcohol policy to which we strictly adhere. However, tons and tons of non-alcoholic beer is available. Not near beer - I'm talking about 0.0% alcohol beer. It kind of tastes like corn flakes without the inherent excitement of eating cornflakes, if you know what I mean.
